The optimal season for Barren Island expeditions is from October through May when sea conditions are generally calm and fishing is at its best.
Monsoon months (June-August) are generally off-limits or dangerous due to rough sea conditions.
Our vessel is equipped with comprehensive safety equipment including life jackets for all passengers, GPS navigation, VHF communication systems, and a fully stocked first aid kit.
The journey to Barren Island involves open ocean travel. Our boat is stable, but those prone to motion sickness should consider medication.
We monitor weather conditions closely and will cancel or reschedule trips if conditions are unsafe.
